In 2015 for the fifth year running we won gold medals for our rustic cuisine at the Scottish Hotel Awards, as well as “Best Restaurant” and “Best Breakfast” in S/W Scotland.
Our award winning rustic cuisine & informal dining complemented by wines, carefully chosen to blend with the food are one of the most important reasons many of our customers tell us they return time after time.
All ingredients are sourced locally and the produce we use is free range & organic whenever possible. From Summer through to Autumn our small walled garden supplies us with fresh vegetables, herbs and fruit.
We also specialize in catering for guests with special diets such as gluten free, and we enjoy preparing vegetarian cuisine as well, to see a sample of our vegetarian dishes and our evening menu take a look at our Menu Page
We have an unfussy and slightly old fashioned approach to food, taking our inspiration from British & Mediterranean peasant dishes as well as using classic Indian & south east Asian influences on our menu.
