The hotel can arrange for Bicycle hire for road bikes, mountain bikes, kids Bikes and a Tandem.

A days bicycle hire for two for one day is £35, plus we have bicycle cleaning facilities and secure storage.

The terrain around the hotel is quite gentle and the countryside very varied, with a network of quiet roads making it ideal cycling country. We have a lovely route mapped out which includes a visit to Drumlanrig castle and Morton Castle.

We offer cyclists several superb routes, which take in the best of cycling in Scotland from challenging off road treks in the forest of Ae & the Drumlanrig estate to more gentle routes following the course of the River Nith and the southern Uplands.
