Although Crawick Multiverse opened last July. We have only just now managed to squeeze a visit in to Charles Jencks amazing Landscape just a couple of miles from the Hotel.
It was an open cast coal mine just a few years ago and now has been turned into a wonderful Art scape inspired by the universe we live in, and not to be missed on a visit to Trigony.
Reminiscent of Stone age temples such as Stone Henge & ancient villages like Skara Brae, but portraying modern Ideas of Astronomy & Cosmology carved out of the hills.
A Magnificent place to simply wander, everywhere you look at Crawick new vistas open up which meld so well with the beautiful landscape of the Southern Uplands & Upper Nithsdale.
And its dog friendly too, so a great afternoon out with or with out your four legged friend. When we went there was just a hint of snow left on the southern uplands, marvellous winter sunshine & ice blue skies which just added to a lovely local experience, highly recommended.
