Do you have an enclosed garden?

Does your hotel provide vegetarian dog food?
Yes, we cater for all diets both human and canine, whether you have the need for a vegan dog diet, vegetarian dog diet or any other canine dietary requirement. Please give us plenty of notice, ideally when you are booking, so that we can make the necessary preparations for our guest. The same goes for our two legged guests and we can provide anyone with special dietary requirements with enough notice, and cater for vegan, vegetarian, lactose intolerant, coeliac, gluten free or dairy free diets. If you have any such requirement then please do mention it to us at the time of booking so we may provide you with the very best food to suit you and your pet’s requirements whilst staying with us.

Do you do Christmas Dog Friendly breaks?
Yes we do, however we are closed for the following days December 24th/25th/26th/31st – bookings are welcome for the 27th/28th/29th/30th and when we reopen in the New Year on the 1st of January. It makes a lovely, luxurious Christmas treat as a stop-over on the way to or from your friends or family in the highlands or further north. We will serve you a selection of seasonal dishes and never fail to satisfy.

Are you near John O’Groats?
Scotland is a rather big country and whilst “globally” we are close to John O’Groats the northern most tip of the UK is actually around 5 hours comfortable drive from Trigony. Many of our guests use us as a staging point for trips further north, so if you are doing any long trip like Le-Jog (Lands End-J O Groats) or other touring holiday then we would always urge people to stop over in Dumfrieshire (but then again we are a bit biased!).

Are you near the Lake District?
Yes, we are! You can leave our front door and be in Keswick, Lake District in around 90 minutes and vice versa. Many of our guests either come to us before or after a few days in The Lakes, or visit The Lake District on a day trip whilst staying in the area. We have many great day trips we can advise you of and look forward to feeding you and your canine companion a hearty meal at the end of the day.
