Our new wine list is hand picked to complement our rustic cuisine. To make it more accessible and hopefully more fun we have made every wine on our list available by the glass. This is made possible by our lovely “verre de vin” vacuum system.
As well as some familiar faces from the new and old world we have tried to pick some more unusual examples of top quality rustic wines, such as the Spanish “La Senda” and the wonderfully intense Puglian“Primitivo”, as well as the “Madiran” from the south west of France.

Dark coloured with garnet reflections, the nose opens with aromatic vegetables, ripe fruit and spices. The mouth is spicy and intense with a woody, tannic structure.

Deep redcurrant aromas, intense loganberry and lip-smacking red fruit flavours, capsicum edges. Lean and lovely. Beautifully soft tannins. Top class Chinon from this excellent producer.

This Grand Cru Gewurtztraminer has a richly concentrated nose of exotic fruit and rose petals. The palate follows through with powerful and complex tropical flavours, very well balanced and a very long, semi-dry, finish.

A completely organic winery using only handpicked grapes, the wine is fermented spontaneously with wild yeasts and aged for 11 months in big oak casks. It shows nuances of ripe yellow apple, meadow herbs, a creamy texture with delicate spice. Hints of pear with notes of fennel and meadow flowers.
